What exactly does Cincher do?

Cincher enables you to quickly and easily search and manipulate data from your Slack corporate exports. Upload your corporate exports, search for what you need, then download the results.

Why not use [big, official-sounding ediscovery platform]?

Cincher was specifically built to be the fastest and easiest system on the planet to extract data and insights from Slack corporate exports. We aren't a bolt-on product to an existing platform - our entire platform was custom built for this.

Unlike large eDiscovery vendors, we don't require long terms to use the service, you pay only for what you use, and its hella fast.

What about migrating to Microsoft Teams?

Yup, we can help with that. You can easily export all your public and private channels to HTML to upload directly to Teams.

How is my monthly bill calculated?

Our billing is simple - your monthly invoice is calculated by storage on-disk, rounded up to the next full GB. A good rule of thumb is each Slack corporate export will be 10x larger on disk. IE a 20MB corporate export will be 200MB on disk.

As an example: your 250MB corporate export is 2.5GB after extraction and processing. Your invoice will be for 3GB at the end of your 30 day usage cycle.

What about discounts for longer-term commitments?

How Secure is Cincher?

We are hosted in the best datacenters in the world, we do not store private keys or passwords, all data is encrypted in transit and at rest using AES 256 encryption, and all customer data is housed in logically dedicated infrastructure. What if my company has data-residency requirements?

Not a problem - give us a shout and we can make sure your data resides in the geographic region you need.
